Become a Latin Bootcamp Coach

Are you energetic, fun-loving, and have a natural talent for making people smile? Do you have a passion for dance, particularly salsa and bachata? If so, we want you to join our team at Latin Bootcamp. We don’t just teach people to dance, we coach them to have fun while learning the basics of salsa and bachata.

As a Latin Bootcamp Coach, you will:

Guide our students as they learn the basics of salsa and bachata
Entertain our students for 3 hours, mostly on Sundays and occasionally on Saturdays
Create an energetic, fun and welcoming atmosphere that makes learning to dance an enjoyable experience

Please note that being a great dancer isn’t a requirement. What we value most is your ability to coach people effectively and your natural inclination for fun and smiles.

Where are the bootcamps held? Answer: The bootcamps are held in Rotterdam, but we also occasionally conduct workshops or bootcamps at events or outside of Rotterdam.
Are you looking for a man or a woman? Answer: Gender doesn’t matter.
How old must I be? Answer: Age doesn’t matter.
Must I be from Rotterdam? Answer: No, but you must be willing to travel to Rotterdam.
Must I be a great dancer? Answer: As stated in the text, what matters is that you must be a great coach.
What does matter: You should be able to speak English. Preferably Spanish as well, but it’s not mandatory.

Salsa Bootcamps

Salsa is een Latijns-Amerikaanse dans, geassocieerd met het gelijknamige muziekgenre, dat voor het eerst populair werd in de Verenigde Staten in de jaren zestig in New York City.

Bachata Bootcamps

Bachata is een muziekgenre dat in de 20e eeuw in de Dominicaanse Republiek is ontstaan. Het is een samensmelting van Zuidwest-Europese invloeden, voornamelijk Spaanse gitaarmuziek, met inheemse Taino- en Sub-Sahara-Afrikaanse muzikale elementen, representatief voor de culturele diversiteit van de Dominicaanse bevolking.

Merengue Bootcamps

Merengue is een soort muziek en dans afkomstig uit de Dominicaanse Republiek, dat een erg populair genre is geworden in heel Latijns-Amerika, en ook in verschillende grote steden in de Verenigde Staten met Latino-gemeenschappen.

Reggaeton Bootcamp

Reggaeton, ook wel bekend als reggaetón en reguetón, is een stijl van populaire en elektronische muziek die eind jaren tachtig in Panama is ontstaan. Het werd later populair in Puerto Rico. Het is voortgekomen uit dancehall en is beïnvloed door Amerikaanse hiphop, Latijns-Amerikaanse en Caribische muziek.
